Welcome To The Late Lloyd Nelson's Website
This is a writer who has lead an interesting life and his writing reflects this.
He is equally at home on history or fiction. His short story plots are very sound and he is a particularly sure hand on writing dialogue. It all results in good escapist reading.
Lloyd is equally as good in writing sequels. Richard Marston's Journey, the sequel he wrote for Boldrewood's 'Robbery Under Arms', could have been written by Boldrewood himself. Of later vintage, his Top Of The Wazar trilogy - a sequel to Robert G. Barrett's 'Les Norton' novels - is sheer Barrett.
The website title, 'The Darker Side Of The Rainbow', reflects the darker side of Nelson's villians for which there is quite a few of them.
Altogether, Lloyd's stories offer escapist reading par excellence.
